Job Summary:
We believe in providing job opportunities for high school students to explore potential career paths in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Through our program, students have the chance to work in a kindergarten classroom, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to evidence-based teaching strategies. This unpaid internship is a valuable opportunity for students to learn and develop their skills in working with young learners who have developmental and behavioral needs.
At our clinic, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of professionals in the field, and this internship program is just one way we support and invest in the future of ABA therapy.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with classroom activities, engage with children one-on-one, reinforce positive behaviors, and collaborate with experienced educators to foster a structured and engaging learning environment. Through the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship Program, you can gain up to 450 hours per year working side by side with our team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and academics.

Provide direct support to individuals with varying levels of cognitive abilities, including those who are non-verbal.

Monitor client's behaviors and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to HIPPA, Health, Safety policies.

Facilitate fun activities and social events to encourage engagement and interaction among participants.
Experience

Diapering or potty-training experience preferred- training provided

A strong ability to assist individuals with varying needs while maintaining dignity and respect is essential.
