Nicole Ellish, MA, BCBA
Regional Director of Sonnenberg Clinics & Safety Care Director
Nicole is Sonnenberg’s Regional Director. She has been with us since 2019. Nicole is a BCBA with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in ABA. She also has certificates in Organizational Behavior Management and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is a Safety Care Trainer as well.Â
Nicole’s journey began while working with young children with an emphasis in verbal behavior, NET, DTT, PRT, and toilet training. The more she immersed myself into the field the more frustrated she became with the lack of services and support for our older populations. Thus, her team created an ABA After School program, Life Skills program, Behavior Modification program, and lastly an Adult program. Â
Nicole found a huge passion in servicing adults, especially those with significant behavioral needs, and began her doctoral program so that I could contribute to the research. My studies included areas related to job coaching, task analysis, reinforcement, and technology. She has experience and training in ACT-based treatment and RFT, and is currently attending training on sex education for individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities.Â
Nicole loves kids and has 4 of her own (twin boys, a girl and a boy). She enjoys trying new restaurants, with her favorite meal being a delicious BLT and chips!
