"I love kids and have 4 of my own (twin boys, a girl and a boy). I have always wanted to be a teacher and in the education field. I met a parent who told me I would be a really good behavior analyst, and I have never looked back. My journey began working with young children with an emphasis in verbal behavior, NET, DTT, PRT, and toilet training. The more I immersed myself into the field the more frustrated I became with the lack of services and support for our older populations. Thus, my team and I created an ABA After School program, Life Skills program, Behavior Modification (6-12 month) program, and lastly an Adult program. I found a huge passion in servicing adults, especially those with significant behavioral needs, and began my doctoral program so that I could contribute to the research. My studies include areas related to job coaching, task analysis, reinforcement, and technology. I have experience and training in ACT-based treatment and RFT, and I’m currently exposing myself to trainings on sex education for individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities."
