Applied Behavioral Analysis for the School Environment

ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. Behavior analysis helps us to understand why we do the things we do and how to change behavior of social significance.

A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) studies the behavior of children and adults, including those with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and emotional or social issues. The BCBA then creates plans to improve or change
behavior.

Sonnenberg Consultants offers consult and training services to school districts that need the support of a behavior analyst to write or create behavior plans and to analyze why behaviors are occurring. We do this through implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Functional Analysis (FA). We also offer mentorship and training to teachers, caregivers and participants in IEP meetings as needed.
