Aspire is a community based social skills program for adults with ASD (ages 18-26) that is based in Elmhurst, Illinois. Aspire provides participants with social and vocational opportunities in the Western Suburbs of Chicago that promote independence for our adult population.

Goals are individualized for participants to develop the skills needed to engage in the community with others. Using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis we bring large and small groups together to build positive relationships and abilities that will help our adults live their best lives!

Social Interactions

Conversations involve many skills that are often overlooked. Some of these areas we address are:
-
Formal and informal greetings
-
Attention
-
Body language
-
Tone of voice
-
Voice volume
-
Asking and answering questions
-
and much more!
One of Sonnenberg's core values is Communication with Respect. We bring this value with us in how we model, teach and guide conversations with everyone we encounter, in the community and beyond.
