Autism Care and Treatment Today! is a nonprofit501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to increase access to effective autism treatments. Our goal is to help facilitate treatment by providing the necessary resources including funding, information and referrals to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and their families.
The mission of Angel Autism Network is to offer financial and emotional support to each individual child and family with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with compassionate guidance, and delivery of therapies or services of that family's choice.
CARE Grant Program is for helping families with medication, autism diagnosis/evaluation, therapy session (including speech, OT and ABA,) autism summer camps, autism service dogs, and anything related to improving the lives of children affected by autism.
First Hand Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps children with health-related needs when insurance and other financial resources have been exhausted. Our mission is to directly impact the health status of a young life.
FODAC is a statewide and national provider of home health care equipment—mobility aids and daily living devices for people with disabilities and the newly injured.

Modest Needs is a non-profit organization with a unique, threefold mission: to responsibly provide short-term financial assistance to individuals and families in temporary crisis, to lessen the burden of state and federal agencies charged with the care of the truly indigent by doing everything in our power to stop these at-risk households from slipping into the cycle of poverty, despite the burden posed by an unanticipated, emergency expense; and to promote compassion and generosity on the part of individual persons living in the United States and Canada.
MyGOAL Inc. is proud to offer a grant program that will enable families to take advantage of socialization and educational opportunities designed for individuals with special needs. The purpose of the grants is to enrich the body, mind, and spirit of individual(s) with Autism Spectrum Disorders, resulting in a higher quality of life.

Our NSWKids program supports direct educational diagnostic testing, services and tutoring/mentoring and support to the families of active duty SEALs, SWCC and support personnel who have special needs children. To date, over 100 children and their families have received support. The average cost of care per child is $10,000 depending on the diagnosis and needed services.
Small Steps in Speech assists children with speech and language disorders by funding supplemental therapies and treatments for individuals as well as grants to charitable organizations who serve children with communicative disorders. Our goal is to give children the chance to better express themselves in the world in which we live.
The TACA Family Scholarship Program was developed to help families who are pursuing treatment for their children with autism, but are struggling to find the funding. We understand how difficult it is to stretch the family budget to include things like, DAN doctors, independent evaluations or conference registration. It is our desire to provide limited financial assistance to qualified families.
The United Healthcare Children's Foundation embraces and supports the concept of facilitating access to health-related services that have the potential to significantly enhance either the clinical condition or the quality of life of the child and that are not fully covered by the available commercial health insurance. This support is in the form of a medical grant to be used for medical services not covered or not completely covered by commercial health benefit plans.
Katie Beckett Medicaid is a special eligibility pathway for children under 19 who have certain health care needs and live at home. Katie Beckett provides Medicaid health care coverage for children who qualify. Children may qualify even if:

They aren’t eligible for other Medicaid programs because of their parents’ or guardians’ income or assets.

They’re covered by private health insurance.
Steps to Apply
Call 888-786-3246 to apply. You will speak to an eligibility specialist who can explain more about Katie Beckett Medicaid and help you apply.
An eligibility specialist will send you an application packet and set up a meeting with you to:

Verify certain documents.

Complete the Children’s Programs Eligibility and Functional Screen, a tool that gives the eligibility specialist a picture of the child’s daily life and determines functional eligibility.
Next, a clinical team within the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) will review medical information to determine if the child meets the necessary eligibility criteria under the Social Security Act.
If the clinical team determines the child meets these eligibility standards, the child is approved for Katie Beckett Medicaid.
The Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program helps children with disabilities and their families through supports and services that help children grow and live their best lives. It is a home and community-based service waiver. It uses a Medicaid waiver to fund services for kids with disabilities. A waiver lets states use Medicaid to fund additional non-medical services and supports not normally offered by insurances. Working with you, the program helps your child get what they need.
Kids who are eligible for the CLTS Program work with a support and service coordinator. This person is from the local county health and human services agency. They help kids and families find CLTS services they need. Providers who register for the CLTS Program offer approved services for CLTS members.
All counties in Wisconsin have a county health and human services agency. The local county agency works directly with families in the CLTS Program. They connect you with a support and service coordinator (SSC). This person is your one-on-one partner and main contact. They can help you:
