The Midwest Council for Children with Disabilities was founded in 1997 by a group of small business owners to provide financial assistance to children challenged physically, developmentally or cognitively. MCCD provides families of these children the means to pursue medical treatments and therapies that are not covered by health insurance.
MCCD has no employees and no overhead. No director receives financial compensation, nor does any director have children in the program.
Resilience is the ability to adapt and bounce back from adversity. We build it in ourselves, our relationships, and in our communities. It gives us the strength to overcome problems. It also helps us deal with large-scale events, like public health emergencies.

The Housing Authority of Racine County's mission is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing conditions for very low-income families and to manage resources efficiently. The PHA aims to promote personal, economic and social upward mobility to provide families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.

(RKCAA) has successfully operated anti-poverty programming in Racine County since 1967 and in Kenosha County since 1978 under the guidance of a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from government, the private sector and the low-income community.

​Wisconsin Help for Homeowners (WHH) is a statewide program that can help with overdue bills like mortgage payments, property taxes, utilities, and more. The program is open to individuals and families who live in Wisconsin with overdue housing-related bills, both with and without a mortgage, who meet income and other eligibility requirements, and have experienced a qualified economic hardship since January 21, 2020.
United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. Each local United Way is governed by a board of local volunteers who convene partners to determine local needs, set priorities, and make local investment decisions.

The Disaster Assistance Improvement Program’s (DAIP) mission is to provide disaster survivors with information, support, services, and a means to access and apply for disaster assistance through joint data-sharing efforts between federal, tribal, state, local, and private sector partners.
