Verified Trainer
Verified Trainers are experienced technicians who support onboarding and skill development by modeling best practices and guiding new technicians in implementing client sessions in alignment with organizational standards. This is a peer-based role focused on collaboration and consistency.

Peer Mentor
The Peer Mentor role is held concurrently with the team member’s primary position (e.g., Behavior Treatment Technician, Registered Behavior Technician, etc.).

Our Mentors support retention, connection, and open communication by serving as a consistent point of support for newly hired Behavior Treatment Technicians during their first year of employment. This role helps new team members navigate workplace expectations, culture, and day-to-day questions, while reinforcing Sonnenberg’s values and communication standards. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Registered Behavior Technicians provide direct, hands-on services to clients under the supervision of BCBAs and BTThs, implementing behavior support plans and collecting data in accordance with organizational and ethical standards. RBTs support skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and daily routines while maintaining professional, compassionate care.

Support Care Specialist (SCS)
Support Care Specialists operate within a dedicated track under the direct supervision of the SCS Coordinator and are active members of the training team. SCS implement a range of strategies and techniques to support clients in accordance with behavior support plans and company crisis management protocols.

SCS assist with staff training and skill acquisition across all locations and may be assigned specific projects based on organizational needs. In all responsibilities, the SCS team provides consistent, high-quality support to all participants. Internal candidates may apply through UKG.
Behavior Treatment Therapist (BTTh/Senior)
Behavior Treatment Therapists function within an advanced technician track under the direct supervision of BCBAs and serve as a clinical support and leadership resource for client teams. Our Seniors model best practices and support training and skill development in alignment with behavior support plans and organizational standards.

This position requires active RBT certification and a bachelor’s degree. Interested team members are encouraged to apply through UKG.
BCBA Student Analyst
BCBA Student Analysts meet the same requirements as Behavior Treatment Therapists (BTTh/Seniors), including active RBT certification and a bachelor’s degree, and are actively enrolled in a graduate program toward a master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field.

In this role, Student Analysts work under close mentorship from experienced BCBAs to build advanced clinical skills through hands-on assessment, program development, data analysis, and team training. Responsibilities include supporting functional assessments, assisting with behavior support plan development, analyzing and responding to data trends, providing direct client services as needed, and supporting staff training and implementation.
This position is designed to support in-school clinical training and readiness for independent BCBA practice. Interested team members are encouraged to apply on our Careers page.
